It's small issues like this along with the 403 errors, that creates the need to upgrade stuff on forums. Sometimes there is even the need to change the entire forum platform.

Yes, people will complain about changes when some forums changes to a new upgraded platform but in the end, it's something that needs to get done.

TBN has been like this for years and years but it's now reaching it's max capabilities. I'm sure Muhammed and his team has been working hard on some new stuff. It's a matter of time till we get a new look on TBN.

What I dont get is most members has no problem posting pictures then just a very few of us cant make that dang (Insert Image) tree work anymore.

Then 'new look' tends to render forums virtually useless. I watched a dozen forums die after changing to the 'new look'. The 'friendly' tractor forum might as well just shut down and go dark after the Canadian company that owns it ruined it and all the others they own. Far too heavy with scripts and gizmos that used to be done with simple HTML and PhP.

That's what's happening here. It's too loaded down with unnecessary hooplah. Rather than be a simple forum, it wants to custom tailor to desires and whims of browsers. Simple websites work with all browsers. The fancier and more 'sophistimicatabelized' they try to be, the more problems they thrust on people who want the simple ways of the world.

This morning before attempting to post a pic in the "Good Morning" thread, I thought I would try something different and fired up my windows 10 laptop with the Microsoft Edge browser instead of the usual Google Chrome. Insert image icon worked a treat, just like the good old days ! :dance1:

Nope. still doesn't work, AND I haven't seen a single admin person mention trying to fix it either.

I have Google Chrome and not a total misfit when it comes to computers.
but
I also cant load pics to the website from chrome and Google photos.
Gave up my Windows computers because of all the spams and virus issues. never looked back.

Adding my 'voice' to the collective situation. Insert or attach photo function will not upload the photo and, therefore will not display.

In the past, if the photo was particularly large (from my camera) I could observe the download %... that isn't being seen.
