can't unsubscribe forums

can\'t unsubscribe forums

Minor problem here.. I'm a new user so it's probably me..

When I first created my profile, I subscribed to the John Deere Owning and the Attachments archives.

Now, I can't get the system to stop mailing these to me. My profile shows me as unsubscribed to all, but they keep right on coming.

TIA for any suggestions...

Well that's a new one ... we haven't had any issues like that in the past. When did you unsubscribe? When did you last get a message?

It's a marketing ploy by the green guy's. Post that you already own a Deere and then you can unsubscribe./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

I unsubscribed a few days ago, and I got the last archives this morning just before I posted the question.

Yesterday, I tried re-subscribing, just so I could un-sub again, but no dice.

Bob,

I just checked the raw data in the table and you are not subscribed to any forums ... to test the system I even subscribed you, then you appeared as subscribed, then I unsubscribed you and you were no longer in there. Any chance your mail server is holding messages for a bit before they're getting delivered? Because as it sits now, you won't be getting any daily archives...

Say, I just thought of something. When I first joined up, I think I used another username.. maybe Bob_T or something similar. Then I changed it to Bob_Trevithick. Maybe I have something still happening from the other account.

Is there any easy way for you to check and kill the old one if it still exists? If I'm the first one to ever have this problem, it must be something I did.. and this sounds like a likely suspect.
