JD 770, Yanmar 180D, JD 420 (not running), had a Kubota B6200
The 3PH, that is.
JD 770, less than 900 hrs. Bought it last winter. It appears that fluid changes had been neglected, but everything works fine except that the 3 pt. hitch drifts down. Lifts the loads OK, at least the ones I have put on it--4 1/2' disk with about a 75 lb. weight, 5' cultivator. Did not put a load on it before I changed the fluid & I used aftermarket fluid that was supposed to be approved for JD's. Now I am wondering if maybe this is the wrong fluid & if the wrong fluid could cause the problem. FEL works just fine.
So where do I start? New fluid? Is there a particular check valve that typically causes this problem? Any other suggestions?
