The canopy was great at keeping the sun off. I used the rotary cutter for 5 hours last week and my head/shoulders/upper arms were almost always shaded during the afternoon. Of course it didn't work as well later in the day when the sun was getting lower, around 6:00 or so. I actually was more comfortable during the hotter part of the day because of the shade it provided. Next time I'll start around 10:00 or so to get finished earlier while the sun is still overhead.
I highly recommend it if you "play" in the sun alot. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif I wish I had bought it at the same time as the tractor. I spent a lot of unnecessary time getting cooked!
