Has 40 acres, hour drive from town, has power, short driveway to paved road (sorta paved) which has quite low traffic. In the snow belt and in a area we like and have already bid on camps there.

I'll post a few more pics after I get through them. The house and 3 out of 4 buildings are tear down condition, including the house. The realtor says they want to get rid of it with everything there. This 1998 6x6 was in the "good" shed. Do I really need another?

One for you and one for the wife and dogs. You could always sell it. If you are pretty sure things need torn down take that into account. They are a liability not an asset.

Here is more pics taken there. Top photo is the house underside, the block foundation fell in and they replaced it with short posts. No insulation on the bottom side. Bottom two pics are of the only storage shed worth fixing.

Dearest shot down this latest property idea, says its to flat and wet..... We've had a wet, wet summer here.

With a sick puppy at hand, we canceled our trip to clean out paternal stuff and we'll now be looking at camp properties on Saturday.. Here's one I looked at yesterday with a buddy which was close to town and priced high. Land n trails was very nice but house was very rustic.

We hiked this property again on Saturday and went through the house since the nephew was there. Not worth the price they are asking since the house is in tear-down condition. Looked at two more and interested one of them, but only has 25 acres..

Dearest is working a 1/2 day today so we'll be in the field to look at camp property's this afternoon. New ones of interest are coming onto the market.

Here is a 80 acre partial with a mile road (we hiked) in through state land to it. Quite a rustic road in with wet pots etc, etc.. Road was rougher than my photos show.

Another we looked at today with a more modest volume of acreage. It was all as seen in the bottom photos. Apparently the nephew had inherited the property and had it logged, then put it up for sale. Not interested, there so much slash we couldn't ever walk it all.

No, there was legal access to it.. This info has to be listed in the sellers info sheet.

On Saturday we'll head south to look at this and another property again thats near by. Both have been on the market for some time with no bids.
