Plowing gets expensive. But it makes it easier to justify getting the equipment you need.

$1600 so far but we show up in the dark, and its plowed.

Arly, that is what sucks. There aren’t a lot of daylight hours in the winter. Last thing you want is to plow in the dark when you get there.

You get hammered where you are, and your cabin is way back off road access.

I know two guys who had places in the UP. They stopped going up often because it stopped being fun. But they were older guys too.
