Calling all BX22 & BX23 owners

Can you guys get an 8'deep trench dug with the BT600?

I know the brochure says you can get a 2' horizontal bottom at 6' deep, but I need to get down to 8' for a septic test pit, and don't want a 24" wide x 8' deep trench dug by a bigger machine, for safety reasons. My neighbor has a 9" bucket on his BX22, and I'd like to use that to dig the pit. It'll be easier to cover a smaller hole to keep pets and kids out of.

I just dug my test holes for my septic design last week. I went 5 1/2 feet and was nearing the end of my reach. So in my opinion you cannot get 8 feet deep.

Dig a ramp down 4' wide and 2' deep then dig from there down another 6'.
8' total.
