Does anybody know how reliable the Romanian UTB / Montana C Series tractors are? I am thinking of buying one mainly because their pricing is very reasonable. The main reason for the tractor will be to help thin out a very hilly wood lot by using it as a wheel barrow to relieve trees that had already been cut up into fire wood and to rip out small stumps.
The large Montana Model C6864 seems to me like a very nice unit and less expensive that the Montana 5740. When the two are compared, what are the plusses and minuses.
I'm presently borrowing a 40 hp Kubota that just doesn't have enough power for what I want to do and the front wheel diameter is too narrow. It does a good job zig zagging through the woods though and with it's 72" front loader is a great wheel barrow.
So, please give me some guidance. It would be greatly appreciated.
