BX2711 quick hitch for BX1500

I just picked up a new in the box BX2711 quick hitch for my BX1500 from my local dealer. It was old stock and although I don't currently have a snow plow or snowblower for it yet, I couldn't pass it up for $200 cash complete with everything. If I remember correctly they were priced at $600 new.

Well, 4 1/2 years later, but I picked up my BX2750C snowblower today. Barely used in excellent condition.

Ah, Man! That's what I wanted!
Just sold my rear blower in October. After four years and used ONCE on a 2" snow to test it. I sold it for what I paid for it, so it was a no-brained. Bought a front blade with the same hitch like you bought... but for my BX2670. Where has that been all my life?
I'd love to find a front blower, too. Figure when I'm old and don't want to play in the snow anymore, the front blower will be good. By then, I'll make a cab to keep me dry and warm. Can't imaging cranking my neck around at 75 to blow backwards.

$1000 looks to be an excellent price for that blower given the condition--good score. You may not have such good luck with the driveline kit, though. However, I've had that same blower for my two BX's for seven, going on eight years now and it's given excellent service. You'll like it.

Thought I had a lead on one, but it was for a different (larger) BX model. It was only $450 new from dealer.

Is BX2712 still available through Whole Goods?

That would’ve been great. Allegedly still available, I talked to the dealer yesterday.
