I can't tell what this thread is about. Is it Kubota vs. Massey or is it New vs. Used?

As far as brand goes, they are all about the same as long as you are comparing similar size machines. It comes down to personal preference. I will assert, is that if you really prefer the Massey, but buy the Kubota to save a few bucks, you'll probably be unhappy about your purchase...always wondering what could have been...

New vs. used, You gotta decide if a new machine with a full warranty is worth the extra price. Also, as I mentioned before, if you want to save some money, go look at some used Massey GCs as well to compare with the used Kubota.

Choose dealer over everything else. Eventually, no matter the brand, you are going to need some sort of service or parts, and you'll want a quality dealer!

Many, I have news for your wife. . . . now you'll be reading and looking up implements and accessories and maintenance items lol.

And then there is the "honey, come look what we can do with the new unit".

For many of us. . . Getting our first SCUT means/meant a "1 day after Christmas" that keeps on going lol.
