BX24 in Pickup Bed?

Regarding a trailer rental, have you contacted a local UHaul dealer? They may have something to rent.

I carried my BX with FEL in a tandem axle U-Haul last summer. $50 a day plus tax.

I have a JD 740 that is smaller than your tractor but the last time I hauled it I went on a 2 wheel trailer but the bed was almost as high as my truck and it scared the snot out of me. It would fit on the truck but the ramps need to be pretty substantial before I would try it.

I can just picture one side coming down.

Take the tractor FEL and move some dirt in a pile for a loading ramp .... take off the loader... back the pickup to the pile and drive it on the pickup!!!

That price is cheap. I would rent that all day every day for that price. I've been quoted $100 + for the day from other rental places around here.

That would be over $20K a year assuming $55 after taxes. Might want consider buying.

Have you considered doing the service yourself? It would fit in the bed but you'd need a dock on both ends as I don't think it has enough ground clearance to make it on and off of ramps...and for sure don't try to drive it over your tailgate

OP is in California and trailers are the only thing we do get a break on at DMV

5 year tag last I checked was $18

I own 5 trailers from 4x5 box to my 12,000 axle PJ equipment trailer and my enclosed car hauler... all the same price for 5 year tags.

Now my old 1972 Valiant is $98 a year and will soon be $170 per year if the governor's road fee goes through... I paid $800 for the car in High School
