BX24 Electrical HELP!!!!!

I tied them into the existing lights because I didn't want to go drilling for a switch...

No offense, but I think the Velcro mount leaves alot to be desired... I understand how it fits into your mission statement, though and I can appreciate that!

Not sure how the BXpanded switch box mount got into the discussion, but since you brought it up... I gotta' admit, it's a good opening for a plug! The "velcro" (industrial hook and loop, not really Velcro TM) switch mount leaves very little to be desired. It lets you put the switch in any of a variety of places in just a few seconds and with none of the drilling you were trying to avoid. It holds the switchbox just fine and gives you the flexibility to easily take the whole light system off to transfer it to your new tractor when that day comes. What else would you like it to do? Just to clarify, the lights themselves mount with a CNC produced bracket and stainless steel parts.

Sorry Inky, you are the one that hacked it together. You could have accomplished what you wanted by using a low current relay (or regular relay for that matter) and wiring the real draw, the lights, from the battery through the other side of the relay.

I don't know how BX got pulled into your mess but good luck repairing it.
