What's a bucket cost anyways? I got a 12" on my B4672a and have no problems digging in my area (all sand), I'm sure it could easily handle a 16" or more, at least here.

Good question. A 30" to 36" would cost around 1000$. IMHO, a 16" around 500$ and a 24" around 600$. It depends if the bucket is Kubota brand with teeth or a custom made (done by pros) with or without teeth. My 24" bucket for the BX23 cost me around 550$ or 600$. It depends how it's made: are the cutting edges made of T1 steel or not, is it reinforced (heavy duty or not) and... (this doesn't apply to my case) is it quick-attach or not. If the welding shop has to start from scratch (no previous design) then it'll cost you more, that's for sure. That's what happened with my BX23 24" bucket. The shop already had a wide variety of designs for B21 buckets but it was the first time for a BX23. I brought my 12" bucket and they took some measures. They started from there and modified the original design to meet my requests. If I had to do it all over again, I'd do it... I loved that bucket. It worked nice for me.
