I'll put my money on the kill switch. Just fixed mine with an identicle problem.Been intermitent
for a year..Usually when first starting out for the day. Pressure washed with seat up, and problem was
pretty well aggravated,ie. lean a little in the seat and engine shut down.
Fix is easy..... pick up a small tube of dielectric grease [auto parts store]
small fingernail sized dab in small mixing cup
equal amount of alcohol [rubbing alcohol will do]
mix vigorously.... [not all grease will mix in, but enough will]
With stir stick... apply liberally around switch button while activating
switch with finger, working the thinned grease down into the switch.
Now you should be able to bounce around to your hearts content without killing that
engine.
If this works for you..... please post back on this thread,as this seems to be
a very common problem, and your header will pull this up on a search of this thread.
Like I said, my money's on the switch for this problem. This switch is in the fuel delivery circuit as
it controls the engine stop solenoid.
