BX2200 MMM Questions

I have a new BX2200 with an RCK54-22BX Mid Mount Mower.

The Front Link length setting is not 48mm from the bottom of the bottom locknut to the end of the threaded post as described in the manual. Diagram G-5639B on page 8 of the mower manual shows there being a single nut on each side of the cross brace. Mine arrived with a lock washer on the bottom side.

Questions: Is this lock washer supposed to be there? How important is this 48mm setting?

Frank, get your dealer to properly adjust your deck--I bet they will send someone out and go over it with you. If not, the instructions are not diffucult--do what they say but I would fuss and carry on till they adjust it for me the first time. J
