Yes, the solonoid is powered when running. When the power is cut a spring moves a plunger and cuts off the fuel. Unfortunately, I misread the manual which covers both the BX1800 and the BX2200 and thought that there was a timer relay AND a stop solonoid on the tractor. The stop solonoid is mounted directly on the injector assembly according to the book and it shuts down the fuel there, not at the pump.
