These pictures show one good reason to buy locally. My dealer spent 3 hours in the 90 degree heat setting up and showing me how to use my new toy (tool). thanks Henry

Yeah, my dealer spent about that amount of time with me too. I sure wish I'd pulled out the camcorder when he was attaching/unattaching the FEL, BH, etc. I've managed to do them all myself a couple of times since, but I have to have a xerox from the manual in front of me. A video would have been helpful, but I didn't think of it till he was gone. Oh well.

I do agree with the local dealer comment. Fortunately, I have three within 10 miles. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

On another note...now that you are an expert on the assembly of your 3-pt system, your next project is to make it look like the attached picture. <G> (B2710 parts)

I am going to get those parts next week. Turning those screws will make an old man of me. He has that stuff in stock and would have delivered with the tractor. I thought I might get by with the stock adjusters. NO WAY, Thanks for the reminder. I have the article that you or someone wrote with the picture of all the parts. Getting the PTO hooked up was not a pleasure either. I remember my old MF 35 was right there and a quick change. I could hook up my old bailer faster than I got the brush hog all hooked up today. I'm having fun though. Another 4 hours of seat time, and the envy of all my neighbors.

Would be interested to hear where to find the article you mentioned about modifying the PTO on a BX22. Just received mine last week, haven't removed the backhoe yet but looking to purchase a small rotary mower soon? Thanks.

Blah blah local dealer.
My dealer spent about as much time as was neccessary for him to het it off the rig and climb back in the cab. Dealer location has nothing to do with service.
Not a flame toward you, but rather a gut reaction to your statement.
Thank God for TBN or I would probably be mamed by my tractor by now. At the very least it would be well overdue for its 50hr .

I have looked all over the forum for that thread. Anyway I saved the picture of the parts attached. JBecker has a great picture of the finished product. I'll let you know how much work it is.
