Hi everyone! Well after several weeks of looking at different models. I ended up with a purchase of a Kubota BX22. A sweet little machine I must say! I looked at several models JD 2210 and a used 4100 and a few of the new 4000 Ten Series. Also a few NH Boomers. The price and size of the BX just seemed right for what you get. I dealt with a local dealer and what a great buying experience. The owner worked with me on price and delivered it to my home no charge and actually came back a second time to my home to finish the final paperwork. I only had to go to the dealer once to pick out what I needed and he did the rest. I highly recommend Lashley tractor sales in Quaker City Ohio (Dennis Lashley). I hope it gives me alot of good use and is as dependable as it seems. Thanks to TBN !!! So I could make an informed decision on my new purchase. I posted in this in the general forum but decided to post it here too........I ran it again today to move some snow piles and I can say I made a great choice. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Congratulations, I am in the final phases of making the same decision. I have already made the mental commitment to spending the jack, just have to make it happen now. It is encouraging to hear of someone else who took the plunge and is elated. I'll let folks here know when I get mine. Hope you get plenty of fun out of your new BX22.

You're going to love your BX22. I got mine last May and it's been great. Good luck with it. I attached a pic I took the day it was delivered....not quite as pristine anymore.

Jason - Congradulations and welcome to the "club." I have about 65 hrs on my '22. I have no doubt I made the right choice for my current situation. Chuck

Strongboy let be offer a suggestion, maybe. I don't know your finanical situation, but if you are going to be buying a tractor in the near future and you are financing the tractor.
If it's over one month or more start making payments now.
How? Grab a cookie jar and each month toss in whatever you expect your monthly payment to be and then you have a $200, $400 or $1000 down (or whatever) as a downpayment and you have extra money to buy "goodies" or it's that much less you'll have to pay in the long run. I've been trying my best to do things this away..sometimes I do, sometimes I don't but I do try.

Congratulations!
I'm green with envy (no pun intended) as I am awaiting delivery of a bx2200 and the five year old in me wants it NOW. I'm new on TBN too, and have gotten a lot of good advice from the folks here. Hope you get a lot of seat time in /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

I know what you mean...I couldn't hardly sleep the night before delivery. The anticipation of seeing the big orange Kubota pulled in on the trailer just about killed me!...LOL. I love mine and will put it to good use. I see you purchased a tiller too...I am thinking about getting one in the near future for mine.....Did you get a Kubota brand? Or something different? Cost? Thanks in advance.....You will love your new BX!!!!! I have a whopping 4 hours on mine.....I loved every second of it. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I ordered a Woods GTO40 40" offsettable tiller. Looks like a good unit from what I've seen; guess I'll find out this spring. I think I should have looked a little more in hindsight because I think I probably could have gotten a better deal on a different unit. This thing was salty ($1800+) so it better be good. The dealer said the Kubota unit was more, and that they sold alot of Woods units. I guess I'll have to trust them on this one.

My bx isn't here yet. The dealer sold a slew of tractors and ZTR mowers during their cabin fever sale and they are backed up trying to get them delivered. Man, do I want to get some seat time in!!!

Congratulations on your new BX-22. I"ve had mine for about six months now after using a BX-2200 for over two years. The 22 has been excellent to me and I'm sure you'll enjoy yours.

Work safely!
