I recently bought a used bagger and 48" deck for my BX1500 for $1.000 and I must tell you the bagger works GREAT:D I'll admit, the three bags fill quickly but today I mowed my 3/4 acre lawn, which is chock full of trees, in one day versus the four weekends it my wife and I last year. I'm a fan!!!!!

Glad it is working well for you! How did you find the installation, and remova?

I wish they made a large leaf collection bin that would replace the bags. Using them is just an exercise in frustration.

Installation and removal is a piece of cake; just need a floor jack, a 2x4, and a little patience. I found that the bagger's manual directions were right on the money.

The only issue is that the bags fill quickly. My lot is loaded with leave dropping trees. I mow for a while and check them. If they are full, I mush down the leaves and make another pass and then empty them. I also make sure that I mow the leaves when they are dry. The unit works GREAT!!!! I have zero regrets about buying it:D:D:D

Thanks for the feedback on my question! Yes, the bags fill fast ( I have about the same capacity on my Simplicity) but all the leaves make it to the compost pile eventually. :D

I would love to find a used bagger or even a left-over I could get relatively cheap. Since I can't get the European model with the hydro high or low dump!

I saw a bagger at Pinnacleview Equipment in Walpole the other day. It may have been a new one, but it was outside in the rack where they usually keep the used stuff. Might be worth a call. They do have a web site. www.pinnacleviewequipment.com

Them bags were made for filling....What used to be a tedious chore is now just another pass or 2 with the orange peeler...Sure saves on the time.
