The BX series will be one of the tractors I will consider purchasing this year. I have a few questions that someone can probably answer for me.What are the tire sizes? What is the turning radius? Will the rear PTO handle a log splitter? Are their weight brackets front & rear for suitcase weights? What is approx. time for hooking up & removing the mid mount mower and putting on/off the FEL?Does Bota make a soft cab for the BX?I am also assuming the larger tires will also give a better ride over a rougher clay type soil. I presently have a JD322.The FEL would be used for light digging, mulch, mushroom soil, snow removal, moving firewood etc. Thanks in advance for your input.

One of the best thing you could do would be to visit your nearest Kubota dealership and ask questions, alsothey should have all the specs on a sheet,or visit Kubota.com

Hogperson, the BX can use a soft cab available from several sources, it can use a log splitter, the turning radius--uncut area--is about 34 inches--great for such a large and capable machine---finger touch steering. I never timed myself on the MMM and FEL but they are very easy--especially after a couple of times--very easy--painless and quick. Yes there are weight brkts for the front and any number of implements or contrivences can be used on the 3-point for weight such as a boxblade or weight box. With the FEL most people get the grill guard which will have to be modified by the Kubota dealer to accept weights when the loader is not installed. Weights cannot be used with the FEL installed because they will hit the FEL crossbar. You probably will not need weights with the BX. The BX will probably not ride much smoother than your current lawn tractor--I have found that it gives a decent ride but the sturdy/tough tires give a stiff ride on rough ground at fast speeds. You should visit a Kubota dealer and ride one around ---you will see that you LIKE it--pick up a brochure.

Look, I am sorry, I, as cult leader of the BX clan, should have the numbers at my tongue tip but that uncut radius number may not be right and I just plain forget and it is snowing and the MMM is not installed so I cannot tell you.
I do know this--the BX is very manuverable for a unit of it's size--zips around obstacles like a sports--er--tractor and mows around all my trees (mulched out a bit) in one circle. I think you will be generally pleased with all aspects of the BX--and dude!!!!!!--it is built like a tank.
There are other units to look at but none fill exactly the same niche as the BX--a subcompact that tends a lawn like a fine garden tractor and can do utility tractor work and the thing is just plain fun!!

What are the tire sizes? Front:18x8.50-8 Rear:26x12-12

What is the turning radius? 7.5' ( believe that TresCrows is right on the money about the uncut circle with a 60" mower...34"

Will the rear PTO handle a log splitter? I'm sure it could, though I haven't done it.

What is approx. time for hooking up & removing the mid mount mower and putting on/off the FEL? (All timed).... Removal of the MMM...1 minute
Installation of the MMM...4 minutes
Removal of the FEL...<5 minutes
Installation of the FEL...<5 minutes

Does Bota make a soft cab for the BX? Kubota doesn't, but other manufacturers do...such as Curtis

I am also assuming the larger tires will also give a better ride over a rougher clay type soil. I moved to the BX from a Cub2206, bout the same as the JD322, and I have hard, rough clay. The ride is better, but not a huge difference, due to the reasons that trescrows gives earlier....

It certainly sounds as if the BX fits the bill nicely for what you have planned...
