BX Seats on eBay

"Take off" BX seats are on eBay from several sources. Hmm, I wonder why - could they possibly be ones replaced by the upgraded ones.

Yeppers..

They'd be ok if your current seat is ripped or something and the price is right. I'm keeping mine as a spare, maybe try and mount it as a BH seat, now THAT is a bad seat!

I wish I would have kept the original seat on my BX. I think the new seat while more comfortable has placed me too fact back from the wheel and controls.

Its odd how some dealers wanted the old seat and others did not.

Your seat should be adjustable. Look under it for a lever that allows front-back movement, just like a car seat. At least my BX2200 is so equipped. It tends to stick, but works.

Even slid all the way forward it feels far away. The angle of the back is the issue.

After perusing the thread in this forum about the Laurin cabs, one person posted a European Kubota BX brochure. One thing I found interesting was the different steering wheel that looks standard on the machines. It's much taller than the US wheel, and may help somewhat with the seat/distance problem.

I was thinking about looking into getting one, if they weren't too expensive...
