BX Move the fuel filter without a kit?

I have searched and haven't found anything on this. Lots of posts, maybe I missed it. I have changed my underbody fuel filter several times and I am sick of doing it. Usually because it clogs in the winter.
Is there any problem with just moving the underbody fuel filter under the hood? Has anyone done this? Just running two hoses from underneath and putting a stock or similar filter on the hoses, and strap it down under the hood. Seems to be plenty of places to strap it on. Thanks in advance.
I really wonder whether it is needed. Is there also a filter in the fuel bowl?

JD added underbelly fuel filters to their 1025Rs; whereas, both my 4010 (like a JD 2019E if made today) and 2025R only had the fuel bowl filters.

I believe the second inline filter is after the electric lift pump. That filter protects the injector pump from debris from a potential lift pump failure. Our maybe Kubota thinks two 50-80 micron filters inline is better than one lower micron filter.
That's how my zd326 and previous zd331 were plumbed. I wouldn't just remove the second filter.
