I am going to buy a set of AGs for my BX to try them out. My dealer has quoted me $300 for a set of Titans on authentic Kubota wheels. This price seems VERY reasonable to me. I had expected MUCH more cost.
Is this possibly not authentic Kubota parts? I actually do believe that they are but I can't understand why some parts are so expensive and the wheels are so reasonable.
Your thoughts?

My thoughts? Only a guess, but the dealer is probably telling you the truth, and even if the wheels aren't "authentic" Kubota wheels, if they fit properly, and the tire size ratios are right, I don't think I'd much care.

Rogue,
We have many people that get both sets of tires due to different conditions and the very reasonable cost. Sounds like your dealer is giving you the price of the tires (and extra rims so you can just change them over) that are straight from Kubota. For the most part, Kubota's prices are reasonable... just depends what you are comparing them to. Have a wonderful 4th.

rouge: that does sound like a really good price. i can't put tires and rims on my car for $300 as per glueguy, dealer is not expecting your old tires and rims is he?

Rogue,

Is that price for just the rear rims and tires or all four?

Rogue,
My Ag tires, on order as of Friday, as pictured in the BX brochure, were $500 Canadian, ($324 US). I too thought this was without the rims but no they include rims and there is no trade-in required.
There are industrial tires which have an extremely agressive grip, taller diameter for more ground clearance and these were $900 cdn.
I think the $500 cdn is an excellent deal and so is your $300 US.
What the heck spring for them.

I hear of people doing that, what are the advantages and disadvantages. What is the cost to do so?

Judging from woodstocks experience, I would say that this is the real deal! $300 for a spare set of tires on rims! This is yet another advantage of buying a subcompact if you can get by with one. And I say get by with one in the sense that I realize some people have a lot more needs than I. For me, this is the perfect fit.
At first I looked at that BX and thought, gee... maybe it's too much. Now when I'm out on the lawn, I don't feel that way at all. Very manueverable and quite powerfull and versitile. And now, cheap accessories!
