BX-1500 Hydraulics Question

I was thinking about getting a front mount snow blower. The one I was looking at requires hydraulics to make it work. It is driven by the mid PTO; but needs a joy stick to lift it.

I have a load but the joy stick is attached to the loader. So when the loader is removed, the joy stick goes with it. I have been told that there was a second option for these small tractors where the joy stick stays on the tractor; any body have this setup?

Well you have an older unit. It wasn't an option it was a redesign. You can still use the blower on your tractor but you have to take the loader off in a way that leaves the controls and upright post on the tractor. This means knocking out a pin that wasn't really intended for regular removal. It's the one that holds the loader arm to the upright on the right side. I know there were a few people here that we're doing this so maybe one of them could supply a picture.

You have several choices.

Leave the valve on the loader when it is removed.

Make a new mount and remove the valve from the loader arm and install on the new mount.

Make a new valve mount and order a new loader valve for about $241.
