Buying a ssqa plate

Curious how they're selling these for nearly 1/3 of Titan's pricing on their website, and how they got so many of them. Walmart's website selling exactly same plate for $124, same mfg part number and everything. Hmm, strange.

Perhaps they recovered them in a closed/bankrupt business auction? Bid on an unclaimed container? It is odd but there are ways to acquire such stuff at a much lower rate than retail. A good auction is a great value, especially for equipment accessories

For the money...why not take a shot? If it's real it's a steal. I agree that I would just use it for various implement projects and cut off the excess metal.

The picture looks more like 3/16" than 5/16". An intentional typo perhaps?

Dont know but I ordered 2 just to see, make sure you order through paypal, makes getting a refund from a scam a lot faster.

That's what I'm saying too. Ebay fee is like 10%. Paypal, another 3% for domestic sales.

It happened to me with the plate my snow plow is mounted on, and fortunately I did try it on first. No point in giving the manufacturer a chance to accuse you of warping the plate during fab. Mine was a Titan and they stood behind it. They did swap and pay return shipping on the first plate.

Just a heads up, it's most likely a scam, look at his latest reviews. I contacted ebay, they opened a case on him, said if there's no response from him by the 15th, they're gonna shut him down and refund my money. For those who bought one, if it's past the estimated delivery date you received by email, you might wanna contact ebay as well.

First I sent him a message, hey dude are you legit or a scammer coz your latest reviews don't look good. No response from him, so I contacted ebay directly, talked to them on the phone. They said that they have no record showing it shipped (I got an email earlier that it did ship with an estimated 05/07/20 delivery date). Sounds like they're already viewing him as a scam artist. As they say, if it's too good to be true... It's fine though, ebay will just refund the money.
