If you angle the blade will it cover the width of you tire tracks? May have to add extensions.

I can put front and rear blades on my setup. I find the rear blade works better on a gravel drive an seldom attach the front blade. Maybe I just need more practice time. Personally, I think it needs gauge wheels instead of the skid plates that always seem to dig in.

Straight yes, angled no...but it's fine. It would be an improvement over my bucket, which I've been using so far with a ratchet rake snow edge mounted on it.

1/4 minimum

Hmm, this raises a question for me about welding, which I'm totally green at. I got a 120v fcaw, rated for max 1/4". But what does that mean exactly? Let say I got 3/16" angle iron to weld onto a 5/16" thickness plate. Somebody give me the quick & dirty on why not with this welder.

Plug it into a tree and pray for lightning. The small wire feed welders are shy on power to get good penetration on heavy steel. Good time to add to the tool selection with a 220 volt buzz box, provided you have the power available. Can always utilize the dryer plug if necessary.

That welder is for small thin jobs.
Wont hold in a strain.

3/16 is gonna wear faster. Your at the limits with a 110 machine but it's possible.

Well, I have what I have, so I'll just have to make do. Also, this:

Holy crap, $ 40 for a 5/16 plate, I just shelled out $ 220 CDN for one for my ft blower project.

Ordered 1. Only 4 feedback, I don't have much hope of it coming through though.
