under 40HP- down 2%
40hp-90hp- down 5%
100hp plus- down 30%
As a result of currently inventory levels these MFG's need to sell off this inventory. Due to the increased fuel prices prices next spring will be up 10-20%
Sales are good where there is adequate rain but most of the south is dry and the mid-west & Texas are very dry. New England is wetter than normal.
Look for Aug. Sales to be as follows:
under 40- down 15%
40- 90hp- down 15%
100+ HP- down 35%
under 40HP- down 2%
40hp-90hp- down 5%
