Kioti NX6010 HST Cab
I have been lurking here for a while knowing that we would be needing to get a small tractor in the near future, well the barn is finished, so the time is now. We have narrowed it down to a couple of different tractors, one of which is the Kioti CK20HST.

My question is whether it is best to buy from a local dealer (the closest is 90 miles away) or try to go for the best price and have it shipped to me?

I apprecate your imput.

Kuldaddy, welcome to the site. We have a Kioti dealer 32 miles away but I didn't buy from him. I had mine shipped 180 miles because there was a substantial difference in price between the two dealers. When I need filters I buy local.

There is a dealer in Baytown I've bought parts from before and have been happy with so far. It's only 60 miles from Magnolia.. might be worth giving them a call as well. They come up on Kioti's web site.

Good Luck!

Thanks, I saw them, they are 67 miles door to door. I think it would be quicker to go to Paige at 90 miles door to door since I would not have to go through Houston to get there.

Either way I will probably get pricing from them for comparison reasons.

Thanks again.

I bought my CK30 tlb used. The dealer that the tractor was originally purchased from has been worse than useless. The original tractor owner did not have much good to say about them either. That said there are probably many good Kioti dealers out there. Before you actually pull the trigger post the name of the dealer here and see if any tractorbyneters have had experience with them. Right now I order all of my parts from a dealer on the other side of the US from where I live. Except for the cracked loader brace issue this has worked well for me. If you are not mechanically inclined a long distance dealer would be more problematic. I do not have a trailer to tow my tractor to a dealer so I plan on doing as much maintenance/repair to the tractor when needed as I can.

Everyone is local or remote to someone. LOL
I have had people buy somewhere else without even contacting me, then they find out I actually wanted less for my equipment.
The long distance isn't always the best deal.
Just be sure when you are getting quotes, you price the same machines and attachments.

I checked around at several dealers and then went to m local dealer. I told him the best price I had been quoted and asked him how close he could come to that. He came within $100. I bought it from him.
