Bush hog

There are two 6ft bush hogs coming up at auction this Saturday.
A 3PT Woods and a FMC pull type.
I'm leaning towards the FMC. Has anyone had any experience with this brand name?

FMC built Bradley's for the army several years ago. I'm not familiar with any ag related products by them, but they might be doing that too. FMC Information page

Jeff, Woods makes a quality machine. Mine is over 30 years old and although a little worse for wear and tear, still chopping and mowing away.

On any model, check to see if it seems to spin freely and that the gearbox doesn't leak.
