I have an old 5' brush hog I use for mowing rough stuff. I do not know the maker.
My question is are the blades and bolts generic for these machines. My blades measure 24"

The blades are pretty interchangeable between cutters in lots of cases.

I would take the old blades off, and then physically compare them to the new ones, if possible.

You have to check the length, width, and the bolt hole, and make sure they are precisely the same. Some blades are high lift type, and some aren't, meaning the cutting edge reverse side is raised to lift the clippings.

Can you post a photo? Most folks here seem pretty good at picking out a model even if it's rough looking.
