I recently purchased a Bush Hog 60" disc harrow. During this past week, I was able to open up a new half-acre food plot and also expand the size of an existing plot. The short version of the story was that I'm quite happy with the results. My FM 1529 produces some 28 HP and it had no problem pulling the disc with both gangs set at their most aggressive positions. I like the tubular frame construction and the ease of adjusting the gangs. I think it will be around the homestead for quite some time.
Many thanks to jeff9366 for his extensive posts on the disc harrow and setting it up. I tried to follow his suggestions as best as possible given what was locally available and budget.
