I completely rebuilt/reengineered my JD Gyramor 205. New bolts, blades, and a rebuilt gearbox have it purring. With the way covid has closed things down it was time well spent this year.View attachment 675763View attachment 675764

You all are encouraging me. Need a to fix or replace my bushhog 286. Not real happy with options or price of a new one. Sides are worn bad. 23-25? Years old. Surprised I hadn稚 sent it into orbit a few times. Several sets of blades and bolts helps persevere the deck and keeps it cutting well.

Set it up under a shelter preferably off the ground and work on it when you can.
Make a plan of attack, each time you work on it set a goal for that day.
I spent weekssss off and on working on mine until I got it where I wanted it.
Don't try to do too much too fast and burn out on it.

I'll be starting on my Ford 954 when I complete my tractor update. It's built like a tank and still works great. It just needs a new coat of paint. I just can't see dragging this junkyard dog behind a nice dressed up tractor. :laughing:
