Here no one uses Locust or cherry as firewood. We make only furniture about them

By the way I surffed on the Surplus center and noticed that hydraulic parts are quit cheap there. Here we can't get parts that cheap. For example

I just bought similar valve and paid 100€ and thougt it was cheap...

Hi guys, just a word of advice to anyone building a logsplitter. Always leave a gap between the ram and the splitter knife and have the actuating lever self-centering. I was lucky when I borrowed a pto driven one from my neighbour, his did not self-centre, when you pushed the lever forward it stayed there, you had to pull it the other way to return the ram. A very stubborn log suddenly split, one half hit me in the knee and I crumpled to the ground. Next thing I knew my left hand was jammed between the knife and the ram and the pump was still trying to chop my hand off. Luckily there was a quarter inch gap between the ram and knife. Broken bones and severed ligaments were the result, without the gap I would be typing with one hand. Just take care!!

033614 is that a recent injury or pictures of an old injury? In either case thanks for sharing, that will help get your feet back on the ground in a hurry when the create build juices are flowing. If it is recent I hope it heals up ok.

My valve is self-centering on the one direction. So I'm going to make hydraulic connections way that you must hold level and then ram is mocing forward. If you let go from level, then ram stops.

On the other direction of valve there is lock. This is used for making ram come back so you don't have to hold the level when ram is coming back.
