Buying Advice Building a front-hoe for my PT-1418 - Advice?

I was thinking about it over the weekend after looking at some of the pictures on here...I might actually switch out the 8" cylinder for a longer stroke (which unfortunately requires me to relocate the tab that the cylinder base attaches to...shouldn't be too hard since I haven't welded the reinforcement in place yet). I took a trade off between degrees of curl vs. force...I tended to favor max force over the full curl degrees (the bucket curls maybe 100 degrees or so), but with a little longer stroke cylinder (maybe 12") I can have both...hmmm.

What's the stroke on the PT mini-hoe's cylinder...anyone know?

On my minihoe its the same cylinder used on the lift arms, looks like about a 2 inch bore and 14 inch stroke.

I am about halfway on my mine-hoe project. I have three buckets to chose from.

First picture, bucket open, grapple fixed.

I believe the file is to big. help

Might be an easier way but I go to my picture editing software and resize the picture by changing the pixels so the picture is under 100K
