BRUSH HOG SQ420 PRICE??

I have a local add for a SQ420 brush hog used twice for $595. Is that a good price? Looks brand new. What's the retail price. Would like to call the guy tonight before it gets taken if it's a good deal

Mine was a little over $600 5 years ago brand new. Does it have the guards and stump jumper? If it does it is a really good deal.

I called the local dealer the next morning. Found out the price is $895. This one is 1.5 years old and was used twice. Paint was still there inside the pan (very well kept). It has the front and rear bands. I looked underneath and it has two blade that swivel if you hit an obstruction. Blades looked good as well. It only cut grass. Not sure if you define that as a stump jumper. Picked it up last night. We'll give it a try this weekend hopefully.

It doesn't sound like it has a stump jumper on it. If you look at the Bush Hog® web site it has a parts list online. You can look at it to see what the stump jumper is.
