He fellas......i have a problem..... the 1st/reverse shift fork snapped off in my transmission. i was pushing snow and it just stopped, glad i towed it into the garage and didn't drive it. when i took off the transmission cover i found the broken fork up against some gears, i can just imagine what damage would have been done to the transmission had i put it into 2nd or 3rd gear....whew!
so hears my question.....do i have to split the tractor in order to replace the fork ?.....or is there a different way to install i new fork that i'm not seeing?...i see there are set screws to hold the rods in place, that the forks are attached to.....so is there a different way to get the job done, no other issues with oil leaks or bad gaskets. i have a 2004 jinma 354 4x4.
thanks in advance for any help!!!
