Broke Down and Got One of those Fake Drawbars :-(

I have the receiver adapter like the link in post #12... It is great.

It gets used for a lot of things. To move a trailer. With a quick link and hook on the top where the top link attaches to lift a log end and skid the log from the tractor draw bar. A receiver mount luggage rack to hold chain saw and other tools. With an adapter plate, to hang suit case weights.
And like said, it was cheap compared to a lot of options.

The number of uses is only limited to your imagination.

I have a HEAVY draw bar and with this adaptor and stabilizer set up I couldn't be happier.

Ohhh, very clever. That would work and be easy.

This works for me as it has the easy hitch built in and I added the 10,000 lb electric winch as an option. The one on the Jd is hydraulic, and it does well with the short boom for lifting logs.
