Anyone know if the Yanmar engines in our CUT come delivered with JD break in oil or is it something else? If it isn't JD break in oil, you guys think it hurts to put that back in at the 50hr mark?

You mean re-use the same oil? Or use the same type/weight oil?

It is break in oil and at 50hrs your ok to use regular diesel oil.

I got a John Deere 1026 and it says change the oil every 200 hours! Man, 200 hours that is a bunch of hours. I was thinking I would change it every 50 hours. What kind of oil do you recommend? John Deere oil or something else? I was thinking some synthetic.

I change oil annually (irrespective of the hours) with Shell Rotella 15-40 diesel oil but any good oil with the specs per the manual will work fine.

John Deere recommends plus guard 50 or Torq-Gard Supreme, or 5-30,10-30,10-40,15-40. I will prolly get some synthetic 10-30 that is what I run in all my vehicles.
