Branson F50CH query

Hi all, I hope you can help me out!

The private estate I work on is looking at purchasing a tractor. We are looking to use it for some larger mowing jobs, annual hedge cutting and there is a job on the horizon where we will need to dig some ditches.

We have approached a company and they have recommended the Branson F50CH, 47hp, hydrostatic transmission, with cab, 4 auxiliary services, 540 PTO, lift capacity 1500kg with on turf tyres.

I have no knowledge of tractors and would like to make sure this is suitable for the jobs we are looking to complete. Maybe I should point out that I understand additional parts for specific jobs will need to be needed to be purchased and suggestions again would be appreciated!

To give you an idea on the scale of hedge cutting and mowing, the estate is 100 acres and the largest field we are looking to mow this with is probably around 15 acres.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Sorry, I'm not much of an help on recommending tractors but I'll just add that the Branson F50CH is the equivalent of the 4815CH in the US, so our American friends have an idea of what tractor this equates to in their market.

Welcome. I have the 4815C which is gear but the same tractor otherwise. Although it is a very capable machine, if I was working 100 acres I definitely would want something a little bigger. However, I do understand that in other countries smaller tractors are more common.
