I turned off my tractor Branson 2810 when I finished working and went back maybe 30 min and it would not start. It turns over and battery is strong.
I thought it must have gotten some air in fuel line so i cracked the bolt that connects to the injector pump and allowed the fuel pump to pump fuel out and no bubbles. Still would not start.
Since the fuel filter had not been changed for a long time so I installed a new filter and bleed the lines to the injector pump, still no start. I cracked a line at the injector pump that goes to the injector and got no fuel when I cranked the engine. Next I cracked a line at the injectors all three and no fuel. Now battery dead, need charge.
Can anyone tell me how to bleed the injector pump or lead me the cure.

There is a fuel cut off solenoid that goes "Click!" when you turn the key on. Check the fuse and power to that circuit. The pump will self bleed off the last injector.

Thanks for this info. I will check this when I get back to its location. Do you know the location of the solenoid and where the fuses are located? Where can I find a service manual for this tractor?

Solenoid should be small thingie with one wire going to it located on/around the injector pump.
To shut down a diesel you need to stop the fuel. The solenoid is spring loaded, when power is applied it opens, power off it closes.
I had a Boom Truck with a 225 CAT engine, the solenoid on it would stick shut after I shut it off when warmed up until it cooled off. I used to have to shut it off, then leave the key on if I had another run to make. Or unscrew the solenoid and bleed pressure.

The solenoid should be located at 5-O'Clock when you look at the IP. The solenoid is covered by a diaphragm and it is clearly visible, It will either draw or push when it is energized. If you don't hear the distinctive "CLICK!" when you turn the key on the circuit should be checked; or it could be the ignition switch (not likely), but check the other items first. Good luck and keep us posted..... Pichers would be nice.

The service manual was given to purchasers at one time; I am sure your local dealer would be happy to photocopy that section for you; maybe even free of charge. Try that first and get back to us.

Thanks Zork, I went back today to the site of my tractor and charged the battery for about 30 min. When I turned the switch and no click. I saw this solenoid and watched it when I turned on the switch and it tried to move so I new thats the right one. I manually operated and it was hanging up. After a little cleaning and lube it's working ok. It operated find all day, numerous starts.

Thanks again for the info.
