Ford 445A 4WD
I just picked-up a used 1987 Ford 445A 4wd skiploader w/ power reversing trans. The brakes are very poor after 10-15 minutes of work. Can someone please advise me about the adjustment mechanism for the brakes and where it is located?

Shorten the brake rods (right and left) where they enter the axle housings. The procedure is self-evident when you see the parts. If the adjustment is used up, the brakes must be rebuilt.

Rick,

Thanks for the info. I have a shop manual coming but need to get this done before I take out the neighbors fence!
