Box Scraper Box Blade Question? Cutting edge placement

Hey Guys,

Gonna build a BB, and was wondering if the blade edge is below the side plate edges? As in if it here it would cut more? Or is it just flush?

From memory about 3/4 to 1" below the side plates.

Front blade looks to be about the 3/4 to 1" and the rear facing blade looks to be 1.5 to 2x that.

As John said, they both are below the side plates. I was thinking about building one as well. Keep us posted with pictures. Spring has delayed mine. I'm a winter shop guy. Too nice to stay inside now. But I'll look forward to watching your progress.

Same thing on mine, 1.5" below give or take a little.
