Bought myself a Birthday Present

Tomorrow is my 49th birthday and in a couple days I should have my new DK55C w/fel. I feel like a kid that knows he's getting a new bicycle.
I've never looked forward to mowing til now.

I went by my dealer yesterday evening. My DK55C was supposed to be in. It was after closing time, but I thought I would drive by and see if it was in the yard. Sure nuff, there it was, sitting on a trailer. They still need to put the FEL on and get everything ready. It sure is pretty. (tractors pretty??? You bet)
I'm thinking about taking a couple vacation days so me and my tractor can spend some quality time. LOL!!

My new 55C was delivered today. I'm like a proud new daddy. The bad news is that it started raining and is supposed to rain the rest of the week. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
So, I just sat in the cab and familiarized myself with the controls while listening to the radio.

The good news is that the rain will make the grass grow faster, which will need to be cut. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Congratulations KiotiMutt. I can imagine that you're anxious to get started, but if you guys need rain as much as we do here in N. Florida, I'm not going to wish the rain to stop just yet.
