Looks in excellent shape for its age. You got a good tractor looks like.

I agree looks like a nice one and you didn't get hurt on that price either.

I paid a premium price in my opinion, $8500. So probably not much room for profit. :)

I'd say that wasn't a premium at all, especially up my way for a clean older Ford that looks taken care of. Has adjustable rears too.

Auxiliary hydraulic pump, deluxe remotes and a steel canopy as well! If you ever want to get rid of it let us know? Heck I'd love to have that canopy for one of mine.

The rears kinda confuse me. It has 15.5x38s on cast center power adjust wheels. I can't find anything that says that tire size was offered on a 3910. 4610, yes.

I agree it was a well equipped tractor when bought new. I'll spend the Winter fixing the little things I find wrong and test it out when Spring comes. I've spent the last couple days building a front grill guard. I'll post a thread when I get it done.

The canopy is actually fiberglass. Not sure how I'm gonna get along with that. I plan to use this tractor a lot in the timber. I built a steel canopy for my Kubota last Spring and get along with it okay. It's tough enough I just let the tree limbs find their way over it. Don't think this one will stand that.

I grew up on Ford tractors. They have a definite personality all their own. I like em. This tractor feels very capable and easy to operate.

You may as well take that canopy off now and sell it. If you don't you can wait and probably take what's left of it off and throw it away. It won't last in the woods.

I think you are right Rick.

Ahh, bummer on the canopy, my 3930 2wd has a factory steel canopy, which is great, yours looked similar from a glance. The other 3930 MFWD came with a crap box fiberglass canopy that I removed and gave to a friend, he's still using it surprisingly, but then again he's 70. If I ever come across another factory steel canopy same as mine I'm gonna scoop it up for the 5610. My 5610 2wd has the same power adjust rears as yours with 15.5 x 38s.

RickB has given me some great insight on the Ford's hydraulics, I'm still learning though!

I don't quite understand the rears on this tractor. I haven't tried driving it on solid footing in 4wd to see if it binds. The 9.5x24 fronts are listed as an optional tire for the 3910 but not the 15.5x38s.

What do you think I should ask for that fiberglass canopy on Craigslist?? It's got some chips and dings here and there but is solid.

I sent you a PM, but just in case, the fronts on my 3930 are 11.2-24 and the rears are 16.9-30. How'd the weight bracket come out?
