Can someone tell me if its ok to bore out the pin holes in an angle snow plow cylinder? I have an old Jeep plow 6' with 1.5, 10" that have a 1" pin hole. Now all I can find thats not to much $ is the same with a 5/8 pin hole. Or I can weld a cpuple of washers on the plow to accept the smaller pins. I have found exact replacement with the 1" but they are $100 apiece. Any ideas? What would you do?

If you are talking about reducing sleeves for the pin hoes, TSC has adapter sleeve to reduce the pin hole, or make your own.

I would try boring the cylinder holes. You may find the cylinder rod is hardened and can't be drilled, if so I would bush the snow plow mounts for a smaller pin.
I think welding washers on would not be enough support and quickly wear out.
