Boomer 1030 need a replacement battery

I tried to get ready for spring here in Canada and charged the battery up. It shorted out a cell in the original battery (11 years). So I am in the market for a new one to replace the old Yuasa 46B24R(S) that came with it. Anyone replaced their battery yet that actually fits like the old one? The problem is that the battery fits in a hole and there is not much room left without cutting metal. I looked at a few battery sizes and a BCI Group 51 should fit?

If i Look at a BCI Group 24R, some have different sizes despite having the 24R designation. So what fits and what doesn't?

Should be a 51R.

That has the battery posts on the wrong side. I retrofitted an hydraulic oil cooler in front of the rad. That puts the battery posts close to the oil cooler with a 51R. So maybe a 51 without the "R"?

the negative cable is too short for a BCI group 51R on my tractor. The positive would barely make it.

Yup, still here. A Group 51 would have the posts reversed as compared to a 51R.

Got my battery today... aaaaand? BCI Group 51 (without the R) is the exact replacement to the Yuasa 46B24R(S). The terminals are the proper way just like the old one. Got mine from Magnacharge.
