Would it be easier to use shims between the bump stops where the white arrow is pointing, then apply pressure in the dump direction? There will likely be "spring-back" so increasing shim thickness till it remains even when the pressure is released?

Chim, don't know if you get notified of posts to this old thread but your advice helped me fix this issue with my quick attach. Your suggestion of using a shim was so simple and brilliant. I was having trouble visualizing how putting one side against a tree and extending the bucket was going to correct the problem. Thought I was in for a big $$ repair bill and some serious down time!! See, boneheads keep getting created. So thanks again from a local down the road a piece from you here in Wellsville, PA

Hi neighbor! I did get a notice of you quoting my post just today. When I went to look at the old thread I was surprised it was so long ago. Glad it worked for you. My one BIL may have lived near you on Creek Road till he passed a few years ago. Not very old and a great guy. We still miss him.
