Bobcat CT225 starting issue/low oil pressure.

I have a Bobcat CT225 that I am having an issue with. Sometimes it starts but then dies 2 seconds later. Once in a while it starts it runs just fine and I can use it however long as I want as long as I dont turn it off. But most of the time it won't even turn over. I've noticed that when it won't start or when it starts and dies, the low oil pressure light comes on. I changed the oil back in December and have 8 hours on it since. I checked to make sure the oil level was fine. A little googling and talking to a coworker recommended replacing the oil pressure switch/sensor and nothing has changed. Has anyone had a similar issue with the same type of motor? Daedong 1.3L 3-cyl diesel.

If your key is on but the engine not running the oil pressure light will come on.
Completely normal.

It sounds like you have a starting issue. When was the last fuel filter change or full service?

Did you change the filter or just the oil? Try replacing the oil pressure sensor with a gauge temporarily.
