Hello my name is Vaughn. My question is my tractor has a D1703 3cyc. diesel and is getting oil in the water slowly. Tore down timing cover and found oring for waterpump bad. Looks like the discharge side of waterpump. So my question is can the the waterpump pressure cause a vortex and suck oil in little by little through bad oring or seal on waterpump even though the waterpump has pressure and the timing gear cover doesent. It looks possible to me. Juks)ksst need soem other folks idea. Already replaced freeze plugs. (Thanks)
