Ok so I have replaced a steel hydraulic line and pulled of the left side axle housing to fix the diff lock and know i can not get the brakes bleed. I have made sure that the seals around the brake disk were not cut when i put that part back together (after i cut the first set putting it together). I had brakes before I started this project.:confused3: this is on a JD400 Industrial

Assume this is the JD 400? Suggest to attach this to the apparent thread where you are working on the 400 so readers can keep up. ;)

Yes sorry I forgot to put that in here.

Did you have engine running while attempting to bleed the brakes? Is brake pedal height adjusted correctly? The check valves in utility tractor brake valve housing have a history of failing.

Yes tractor was running. I haven't changed or adjusted anything with the brakes because they were working before. I also changed hydraulic fluid and all filters. Trans filter hydraulic filter and the long round screen filter
